• Co-led enterprise-wide CSRD preparation, including double-materiality and gap assessments, while navigating evolving EU regulatory timelines and expectations

• Led the strategy and production of Merck’s annual ESG report for nearly 15 years, the last four in-house, directing content and data compilation from more than 100 internal subject-matter experts (SMEs)

• Navigated the onboarding of a new data management system (Workiva), to address regulatory requirements for credible and assured quantitative data, to develop workflow efficiencies, and reduce risk

• Managed engagement with ESG ratings agencies: MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, FTSE4Good, and EcoVadis

• Established ESG governance infrastructures, including the formation of an ESG Disclosure Committee in partnership with Legal, Finance, and the Controllers Office, to ensure audit-ready processes aligned with regulatory standards
